Originally from Birmingham, AL, NaBeela enjoys helping businesses and non-profits succeed by crafting unique branding and marketing strategies, digging deep into the community through market research and developing content that is meaningful and makes a statement. When she's not counting characters or trying to figure out what inspires others to engage, you can find her binge-watching advertisements, exploring The Greater Boston & New Hampshire area , cooking Southern staples, writing, or taking photographs.
Mindy Bartleson currently lives in Boston with her two kitties, Lilo and Stitch. She’s a born and raised Georgia peach and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s in Social Work and a minor in Sociology. She blogs at “There’s More to the Story” about life, chronic illness, and mental health, and she frequently contributes to several chronic illness and mental health blogs. She tries to get involved in the communities she lives in and identifies with as much as possible. Caitlin Fitzgerald comes from Weymouth, Massachusetts, a town just outside of Boston. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Lasell College where she studied various outlets of the communication industry, focusing on journalism and public relations with creative writing. During her time at Lasell, she started and ran Her Campus Lasell, a chapter of an international blog geared toward college aged women.
She hopes to continue to improve her writing and marketing skills and is extremely interested in digital media, both here and abroad. When she is not writing or working, Caitlin can be found reading or exploring the New England area in her orange VW Beetle with her side kick corgi Lucy.
Melanie Blackman is a bubbly and passionate individual. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2016 with a Master of Fine Arts degree in Fiction Writing. During the low-residency program, her longstanding love of writing and editing grew stronger. Writing and editing have both been a big part of her life, and she's excited to explore career paths where she can utilize her strengths and passions. When she's not writing or proofreading for freelance projects, Melanie enjoys playing videogames with her friends, going on adventures, and learning new things.
Born and raised Massachusetts native, Caleb Seaver is entering his final year at Emmanuel College where he is studying English and writing as well as graphic design. He has contributed to the creation of the schools very own literary magazine as well as being a part of the school’s theatre program and acapella group. When he has some free time, you can find him enjoying a good book or film, being a part of the Nerdfighter community or working on his own creative efforts such as making music or making videos. With a drive for always wanting to learn more and a passion for reading and writing, Caleb hopes to someday be able to publish his own novel or even own a bookstore.
As a Boston native, Kayla has always held a lifelong love for storytelling. She enjoys being heavily involved in the formative pre-production process of any project and is always looking for new ways to challenge herself through different mediums and storytelling methods. When she is not pursuing any creative projects or re-watching her favorite films, Kayla is a volunteer and foster parent for Last Hope K9 Rescue; a non-discriminatory dog rescue based in Boston. From her time spent volunteering, she hopes that more people will become aware of the mistreatment of animals and to choose to adopt from shelters when looking for a new addition to their family.
Although born in Connecticut, Madison McKeever has been calling Boston her home for the last five years. She recently graduated Cum Laude from Emerson College with a degree in Writing, Literature and Publishing, and spends a significant portion of her time at Blackbird Doughnuts. She has written for both print and digital publications including The Odyssey Online, Lesley Public Post, Atlas Magazine and Shapes Magazine. When she's not writing you can find her buried in a book, running her food Instagram, or buying all the mini products at Sephora.
Alexis Soucy is a passionate communications student at Southern New Hampshire University with minors in public relations and social media marketing. When she’s not in class or on the web, you can probably find her on the field hockey field or out volunteering in the Manchester, New Hampshire community. She has previously worked on marketing and social media campaigns as an intern at Maine State Housing Authority and EasterSeals NH. She is excited to continue growing as a digital marketer and to find creative new ways of engaging and connecting with audience members on social media.
Hailing from the great city of Cleveland! Chelsea A. Flowers is a literary and visual artist who holds an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art. Prior to Cranbrook, Flowers studied Fine Arts and Black Studies at Denison University. She has shown work at various galleries in Columbus and Cleveland Ohio; including Marcia Evans Gallery and Junctionview Studios. Additionally she has held performances in galleries and universities in the greater Detroit area. When she is not making visual work she enjoys writing short stories and cartoons, doing standup comedy and splashing around in watering holes.
